Privacy Policy / Политика конфиденциальности
Last updated: July 23, 2026
1. Overview
Remotai is a remote computer control application for Android, the web and Telegram. This policy explains what the cloud service stores and what stays only on your devices.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data — an internal account ID and, depending on the chosen login method, Telegram ID and public profile fields, email address, or an OAuth provider identifier. We do not access Telegram messages or contacts.
- Device data — a device identifier, display name, platform, app version, connection status and timestamps needed to pair and manage your computers.
- Minimal product analytics — landing visit and download events, registration source, UTM campaign fields, application opens, successful pairing, first terminal creation and daily counters for feature use. A referring page is reduced to its origin. We do not record terminal or file contents, commands, filenames, screen frames, keystrokes or clipboard data in analytics.
- Support messages — text that you voluntarily send in the in-app support chat, together with its timestamp and conversation status.
3. Remote Session Data
When you use cloud access, Remotai relays terminal, file, system and Remote Desktop traffic between your authenticated devices over TLS. This traffic is processed only to deliver the requested session and is not stored as product analytics. Screen frames, terminal input/output, transferred file contents and clipboard data are not retained by the relay after delivery.
4. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not track your location
- We do not access your Telegram messages
- We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising
- We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels
- We do not collect the contents of terminals, files or screens for analytics
5. How Data Is Transmitted
Data between your phone and computer travels through one of these paths:
- Direct connection (LAN) — session traffic stays on your local network.
- Remotai cloud relay — session traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS and proxied between authenticated devices.
6. Data Storage and Retention
Application settings, credentials and local session metadata are stored on your computer or phone. The cloud service stores only the account, paired-device, minimal analytics and support records described above. Operational backups may retain deleted records for a limited recovery period.
- Analytics events contain event type, timestamp, source/UTM fields and, after login, an internal account ID.
- Frequent feature use is aggregated into daily counters rather than stored as individual actions.
- Support messages remain available in the support conversation until the account data is deleted.
7. Third-Party Services
- Telegram — authentication, Mini App and bot messaging (Telegram Privacy Policy).
- Your chosen login provider — email, VK ID, Yandex ID, Google or Apple may be offered depending on region and server configuration.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- Remove local application data by uninstalling Remotai.
- Revoke paired devices from the application.
- Request access to or deletion of your cloud account, analytics and support data by contacting support.
9. Security
We take security seriously:
- All internet connections use TLS encryption
- Bot tokens and API keys are stored locally with restricted permissions
- Authentication uses HMAC-SHA256 (Telegram) and JWT tokens
- The application runs with user-level privileges (no root/admin required for normal operation)
10. Children
Remotai is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, contact Remotai support through the Telegram bot or the in-app support chat.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
